Fire Sprinkler Systems
At Quality Fire Protection Inc., we specialize in the design, installation, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems that fully comply with NFPA 25 standards, ensuring your building meets all safety and code requirements.
All fire protection systems are inspected, tested, and maintained in accordance with NFPA 25 - the Standard for the Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Water Based
Fire Protection Systems.
1
Wet Pipe Systems
Wet pipe systems are the most common and reliable type of fire sprinkler system. The pipes are constantly filled with water, allowing for instant activation when heat opens a sprinkler head. They provide fast response, simple operation, and easy to maintain through inspections and waterflow testing. Routine inspections, valve checks, and waterflow testing are performed to maintain compliance with NFPA 25 and ensure consistent performance.
2
Dry Pipe Systems
Dry pipe systems are designed for areas exposed to freezing temperatures. Instead of water, the pipes are filled with pressurized air that holds a dry pipe valve closed. When a sprinkler head is activated, the air pressure drops, releasing water into the system. This design prevents frozen or burst pipes while delivering reliable fire protection in cold environments, in compliance with
NFPA 25 standards.
3
Pre-Action Systems
Pre-action systems combine the reliability of wet systems with the freeze protection of dry systems, providing extra protection. Water is held back by a valve until a fire detection device signals activation, reducing the risk of accidental discharge and minimizing water damage in sensitive areas. All routine testing and verification of detection devices and control valves ensure full NFPA 25 compliance.
4
Standpipe Systems
Standpipe systems provide hose connections throughout high-rise and
large commercial buildings, allowing firefighters immediate access to water during an emergency. Regular inspections and testing that cover valve operation, pressure levels, and flow performance are conducted in accordance with NFPA 25 order to maintain full operational performance and reliability.
Fire Sprinkler Installation

Design-Build Sprinkler Systems:
For new construction projects, Quality Fire Protection, Inc. provides complete design-build services. Our team handles the full process from engineering the fire sprinkler layout to installing the entire system ensuring the finished building is fully compliant, efficient, and tailored to the project’s specifications.

Sprinkler System Retrofits:
As fire codes evolve, many existing structures are now required to upgrade or add sprinkler systems. Our technicians are experienced in performing retrofit work in occupied buildings, minimizing disruption while bringing the system up to current safety standards and NFPA requirements.

Sprinkler Head Relocation:
Interior renovations such as new walls, ceiling changes, or tenant build outs often require sprinkler heads to be repositioned for proper coverage. We evaluate the updated layout, determine required adjustments, and relocate sprinklers to maintain full protection and code compliance.

Sprinkler Head Replacement:
Sprinkler heads must be tested and replaced when they reach 50 years of service or if they are part of a manufacturer recall. Many older residential and commercial buildings still contain recalled or outdated sprinkler heads, which significantly increase the risk of failure during a fire. Quality Fire Protection, Inc. provides full inspection and replacement services to ensure every head is reliable and ready to perform.
